Feature Mixologist – Sean Hewlett, Principal- Coupe and Co
Sean worked in various cocktail bars around Vancouver, such as Blacktail Florist, Bambudda and Clough Club. He’s an inaugural Canadian graduate of Maison by Pernod Ricard and the École hôtelière de Lausanne. He started Coupe & Co. with his business partner Eric Johnson in 2017 with the intent of providing quality cocktail education & services to both the private and public sectors. Coupe & Co’s focus is on sharing the world of cocktails with guests and removing the pretensions of the industry while providing a fun, relaxed and safe environment to learn in.
Feature Mixologist – Bryan Galdos
What makes a great bartender? If you ask Bryan, he’ll say it’s testing the product, often! Bryan’s claim to fame came while at the helm of the wood at Sydney’s famous and very prestigious Pelicano Bar. It was Bryan’s wit, charm, and passion for a good stiff cocktail that made him THE Mixologist to know! While Bryan recently switched careers to logistics, his friends here in Canada are glad he’s back from the land down under to host parties and do what he does best; make and test cocktails. Come see Bryan in action on March 22nd as he teaches us Peru’s crowd-pleasing cocktail, a Raspberry Pisco Sour. A sour turned sweet because Bryan made it.
Feature Mixologist – Peter Siwonski
Peter Siwonski had been slinging cocktails in some of Europe’s hottest bars before our VP of Programs and Education found him. She met Peter while was working at the Elite David Foster Foundation Gala and offered him a job on the spot! David is now one of The Lazy Gourmet’s favourite and skilled bartenders. Prior to this, Peter’s knowledge and enthusiasm had him bartending at some of the Aquilini Group’s private clubs. When he’s not making cocktails here in Vancouver, you can find Peter traveling the globe sipping local brews from whichever location he’s in.
