Calgary’s most extensive entertainment agency, fuze entertainment, is seeking a sales focused, creative individual to join their team as Entertainment Sales Manager.

As Entertainment Sales Manager, you are engaged in Canada’s entertainment scene.  You are responsible for contacting clients to secure business opportunities, collaborating with the team to find, or create the best entertainment option for each client, and follow it through to execution.  To be successful in this position, you need to be able to think creatively, while simultaneously planning logistically.  Sales experience, administrative organization, customer service skills, and experience in the entertainment industry are necessary attributes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Entertainment Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities and contact potential clients
  • Meet monthly sales revenue targets
  • Become familiar with the many entertainers and acts on our roster
  • Collaborate on and develop creative proposals specific to each client after establishing their needs
  • Act as a liaison between clients and entertainers, negotiating terms and fees
  • Prepare and manage accurate entertainment budgets, client invoices and internal cost sheets
  • Liaise with suppliers and venues on client events
  • Social media management; editing and creating social networking initiatives, along with quarterly newsletters.  Actively maintain and update website and social media identity
  • Maintaining customer relations through follow up
  • Occasional onsite event work
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience with a successful results record
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, communicative and written skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed client files
  • Strong customer service skills to include timely communication and regular follow up
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Creativity, alongside strong logistical planning
  • Highly competent in computer programs – including all Office Suite products
  • Well-versed in social media sites
  • Intense interest in the entertainment industry is a must; experience is an asset
